Outings and Visitors

The outings that we provide are well planned, with risk assessments carried out prior to any activity that involves taking children off the nursery premises. Children are taken out in small groups to ensure their safety and given high quality experiences. Upon registration you will be asked to give permission for spontaneous outings such as a walk to the train station, library or canal. Outings further afield which require additional planning and/or children being transported by car or public transport will require specific additional written permission.

Visitors to the nursery

We invite visitors into the nursery to provide additional experiences for the children. These include the local fire brigade, community police support officer and animal specialists. Parents are always welcome to come in and talk about their jobs with the children.
